2008 SCA Packaging Challenge recognizes finalists:
Kajsa Ericsson & Ylva Söderström for SIX SQUARE
In 2008, SCA Packaging Europe announced a competition for European design students and non-professional designers. Their task was to develop an innovative and sustainable concept for the packaging of chocolate.
Jury motivation: This concept offers the consumer the chance to eat only one small piece of chocolate at a time. The concept is iconic and decorative and maximizes the use of space.
90 concept proposals were submitted by participants from 20 European countries and in February 2009 the jury selected the 5 finalists who are now competing for the first prize. The winner will be chosen at the ‘Packaging Experience’ event in Brussels on 23 March.
