Shave

A container used for storing a shaving brush before and after shaving, allowing it to dry freely

For this project we set out to explore the versatility of glass as a material and how it could be used to encourage consumers to adapt circular habits in everyday life.

I quickly identified a standard bottle of shaving cream to be a prime example of a linear product which exists because of simplification for the user at the cost of the environment. The alternative is to use shaving cream and a brush for application. In my research I found a gap in the market for some kind of container to store the shaving brush. Maybe you could use the same container to prepare the shaving cream and thereafter fill it with water to
be used while shaving, instead of leaving the tap running whilst shaving.

The result is a container used for storing a shaving brush before and after shaving, allowing it to dry freely. While also functioning as a container for whisking up shaving cream before application and holding water to be used during shaving. Portability for the product is a focus area.
