Porcelain analogue phone speaker
Speakers are one of the clearest example of a linear system. They are usually not designed for disassembly, dismission or recycle, and often made by plastic components unified together without any chances to open them and fix them.
Furthermore, their need of electricity make them one of the several products that feeds the human necessity to be constantly connected.
Driven by the motivation to change those characteristics into a more cyclic model, I designed Forte. Exploring several porcelain casting techniques, the result is a shape different between the inside and the outside: this allows Forte to provide a better sound spreading from the phone speakers and a simple usabilty for the customer, combined with the total absence of electric components.
